ISO-9000 or ISO9000

Standards or guidelines for business used to verify or certify businesses as being capable in defining and adhering to a documented procedure or process or set of standards.

Almost always related to quality assurance systems and not quality improvement plans.

A specific set of guidelines maintained and audited by the International Organization for Standardization, (ISO). There are several other ISO guidelines like ISO-9001, ISO/TS-16949, ISO-13485, etc.
