PDR - Prototype Design
Review
Any
formal review by peers to assess the practicality of any prototype and
that the prototype can meet or exceed all of the design and/or process
necessities, customer requirements,
management directives and/or government standards prior to production’s
agreements. Prior to this could come a CDR,
(Concept Design Review).
This
should be completed to insure six sigma
design margins in the initial design phase.
