Changeability of any characteristic or parameter that will determine how stable or predictable the process will be. This can be affected by many items to include the environment, people, equipment, procedures, measurements, methods, and materials. Usually associated with six sigma.

Process improvement can be gained by using a process map flowchart and process management techniques.

Use SPC, (statistical process control), with X Bar and R Bar control charts to monitor variations. Use WECO rules and Zones on the control charts to aid in the process improvements.
